Feature Photography
Feature photography is more than one moment in time. When a "decisive" moment becomes a "decided" moment, we just might have captured a unique image.
Every photograph is a composition, but in feature photography the visual design is taken to the master level. And like every picture, it tells a story-persuasively. If a picture is worth a 1,000 words, a successful feature photo may well be worth a 1,000 bucks.
Good photographs don't just sit around for grabs. Photographers have to sensitize themselves to recognize these little gifts of God when they float by. And add their art to them.
A photographer never stops learning. There is no end to studying lighting situations, human behaviors, and design principles-to help the art along. So the feature photograph becomes a one-shot mini drama, the photographer its director.
Sometimes what's behind a photograph is more important than what's in it. With a well constructed message, the feature photograph plays our emotions virtuously.
